Relative Abundance of Breeding Birds in Forest Stands in the Southeast
TL;DRAbstract
Abstract Relative population data are presented for forest breeding birds in stands of three different ages in major forest types of the southeastern USA. These data should enhance understanding of the relationships between breeding birds and forest stands, and enable forest managers to favor certain species by manipulating forest habitat. The dearth of data from some forest types and ages indicates where additional research is needed.
