0

TL;DRAbstract

This study was carried out in a forest plantation established in 1973 near Ayotoxtla Guerrero, Mexico. Eight exotic tree species were planted in an experimental random block design with six replications. The experimental unit consisted of 40 trees per species per block with a spacing of 2 by 2 m. Diameter at breast height, total height, volume, and survival were measured for the evaluation test. After 15 years of establishment, results indicated that the best adapted species in terms of growth and survival, were Eucalyptus globulus, E. camaldulensis and Pinus pseudostrobus.
