RURAL ROAD BETTERMENT: CONSIDERATION WHEN USING CBR PLUS AND/OR CON-AID MATERIALS

P.F. Savage-2001-01-01
1

TL;DRAbstract

Economic impoverishment among rural populations can be remedied by improving the rural road network by making such roads passable at all times. This paper discusses the use of road stabilizing materials to improve the quality of road surfaces and pavements. The focus is on soluble adsorbed water displacing ionic additives such as Con-Aid and CBR Plus, as better substitutes for gravel.
