The article deals with reasons of self-identification crisis of the modern person. The main one lays in the very personality, incapable to comprehend integrally the many-sided life and one’s own place in the onto-logical structure of the contemporary world, as a consequence the personality is ‘transferred’ to the cyberspace and often is oust by it. The authors analyze specifics of the crisis solution in the cyberspace. Selfpresentation in the Internet is one of the most visible attempts of self-identification in the cyberspace.
