Resistencia a compressão e a tração diametral de dois cimentos de ionomero de vidro modificados por resina, em diferentes relações po/liquido e tempos de armazenagem

Mônica Aratani-2003-02-27

TL;DRAbstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the compressive and diametral tensile strength of resin-modified GIC Fuji li LC and Vitremer, in powder/liquid ratio 1:1, 1 :2 and 1 :3, in different periods of storage in 37 C distilled water for 1, 7 and 28 days. For each material, p/1 ratio and time of storage, 10 specimens were prepared, with 4 mm in diameter by 6 mm in height in silicon moulds. Each extremity was photoactivated for 40 seconds, and after remotion from the mouds, the specimens were photoactivated laterally (perpendicular to long axis) for 40 seconds and after, immersed in water. The compressive strength tests were performed at 1 mm/min cross-head speed of and diametral tensile strength tests, at 0.5 mm/min, in Universal Tests Machine lnstron. The results, converted to Megapascal, were submitted to ANOVA and Tukey's Test (p<0.05), and showed that compressive strength was influenced by p/1 ratio, but storage in distilled water didn't show a strong influence.
