The resettlement action plan aims to define the resettlement and compensation program so as to limit as much as possible the number of project affected persons (PAPs) and properties affected by the project, and to ensure that all PAPs will be compensated for their losses at replacement costs and will be provided with rehabilitation measures to assist them to improve, or at least maintain, their pre-project living standards and income earning capacity. All PAPs residing, working, doing business or cultivating land in the right of way of the transmission line, surrounding areas of the tower foundation and the surveys are entitled to be provided with rehabilitation measures sufficient to assist them to improve or at least maintain their pre-project living standards, income earning capacity, and production levels.
