The teaching of Portuguese language has been modified in the last few years, based on new theories about reading and writing, textual genres, dialogism, discourse.However, crystallized practices such as separating the Portuguese language classes in reading, writing and linguistic analysis classes still remain in classrooms.The possibility of making sense out of text genres of other disciplines is still uncommon, the fragmentation of teaching takes place in school practices and consolidated daily lives of our students is ignored in teaching learning.The assumption of the interdisciplinary approach can facilitate the learning of reading and writing, especially to take advantage of the conditions of where our students live is that the research was proposed, aiming to break the fragmentation within the discipline itself, and in relation and interaction with other disciplines of knowledge, specifically biology and chemistry.We start with the idea that learning to interact with other areas o
