WAHYUNI SIMBOLON: Analysis of Factors Causes Damage And Conformity Appropriation Changes of Mangrove Ecosystems in Coastal Serdang Bedagai. Supervised by AGUS PURWOKO and PINDI PATANA. Indonesia is a country with vast coastal areas. Ease access to coastal areas tends to increase the rate of utilization of coastal areas in the future, both in terms of economic resources and space utilization that effect and changes the suitability of mangrove ecosystem in many coastal areas. This research was conducted in March-April 2010 including coastal areas in same district Serdang Bedagai. The analysis used multiple linear regression and determination of model validation using by F test and t test through in-depth interview with key persons approach method. The results showed that the factors cause damage was the lack of security activities and changes in of the suitability of coastal mangrove ecosystem in Serdang Bedagai is the presence of aquaculture activities and the presence of non government
