TL;DRAbstract

This survey has taken as its starting point the lack of scientific literature -analyses and evaluations -of existing experiences in the field of health education, especially with regard to the prevention of AIDS in the workplace. The objective of the survey was to produce a critical analysis of the theoretical and methodological aspects which orientate the activities in the field of health education, more specifically of a program for the prevention of AIDS in a large metalurgic company in the city of Campinas. The idea was to produce new data and also to critique the organization, the progress and the limits of these activities, using the methodology of a qualitative survey, taking the specific case study mentioned above as the research model.
