TL;DRAbstract
A jet-thrust apparatus was used to investigate the normal stress and shear stress behaviour of polyisobutene solutions at high shear rates. The results were compared with data obtained from a cone-and-plate rheometer. There was found to be good agreement between results from the two instruments.
