Contextualizing oneself is as important as contextualizing the other in order to construct the realities that shape our world and our everyday life. We are the products of the political economies in which we exist and also the historical moment during which our consciousness was shaped. We are the product of our gender, our class and the disciplines that shaped the lenses through which we perceive the universe.
