TL;DRAbstract

The article discusses definition of the insurance contract subject. The author studies various scholar interpretations of the concept. The legislative recognition of the insurance contract subject is analyzed. The paper considers the subject of the insurance contract as its principal essential condition. As a result of the research the author offers an original definition of the insurance contract subject and concludes that when concluding the contract this concept should be considered.
