TL;DRAbstract

The research aims to investigate the consequences of the work flexibility on young families' everyday life. Taking into account the particular economic situation of the Milanese context, that continues to offer substantial and interesting job opportunities to the young generations of men and women, the focus is the couples of flexible high specialized workers employed in the tertiary creative sector, identified by high educational credentials, high professional status and good incomes. In summary, the research outlines an urban population of families dual career and also dual carer, characterized by de-standardization of work times and spaces and by a complex spatial and temporal organization of daily life.
