TL;DRAbstract

Abstract : This report presents a semi-empirical (non-Gaussian) model for the obscurants that may be generated by military activity. These include smoke and obscuring aerosol munitions, dust clouds generated by non-nuclear explosive munitions, and dust generated by military-like vehicles. The field data and some laboratory experiments are discused, and numerous validations are provided.
