TL;DRAbstract

In accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S. C. 552a), the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) is publishing a notice of intent to establish a new Privacy Act system of records, 09-37-0018, "Disaster Health Services Information System, HHS/OASH/OEP." This system will be used to identify, mobilize, and allocate health care professionals to serve the national needs when State resources have been overwhelmed by a disaster or other emergencies and requests have been made for Federal assistance, or in the event of a conventional military conflict outside the United States. We are also proposing routine uses for this new system of records.
