TL;DRAbstract

Formulas for the wave function and electron energy in an ionic field configuration corresponding to the nearperiodic potential were obtained in a one- dimensional, strongly-bound electron approximation. The energy values form a two- band combination and are determined as statistical averages which can be calculated by using the density distribution function in a non-ideal chain and the inexact potential repetition in shifting to near periods.
