Применение Вирасепта (нелфинавира) в комбинированной антиретровирусной терапии у детей, больных ВИЧ-инфекцией и СПИД

TL;DRAbstract

The article presents a pilot study of effectiveness of Virasept (nelfinavir) in treatment of HIV-infection as a component of antiretroviral therapy in 35 children and adolescents infected by different ways and treated with Virasept since 1998. Twenty-seven patients aged from 14 to 17 years had nosocomial infection (since 1988-1989), 8 children aged from 1 to 5 years had perinatal infection. Therapy was performed under careful clinical and laboratory (including virological) monitoring. It was shown that antiretroviral therapy resulted in reliable decrease of viral load (p 1/ 3 of children treated by ll-lll line therapy had similar results. The most effective combinations were: Virasept + Zerit + Videx, Virasept + Zerit + Epivir, Virasept + AZT (Thymazide, Phosphazide) + Epivir, Virasept + Videx + Stocrin, Virasept + Epivir + Viramune.
