Changes in the mechanism of the IMASA limestone distribuition equipment are provided. (The modified equipment has been called optimized machine or optimized distributor). A conventional limestone distribuition equipment has been used as a source of standard data for analyzing and comparing the efficiency of conventional and optimized machines. Field experimentations have been performed in twelve strips of land (3 by 50 meters) by both machines, loaded with 750, 1500 and 3000 kg of limestone, respectively. Limestone distributed by machines have been collected into numbered containers and weighed. A mathematical model based on the factorial variance analysis has been adopted as the statistical basis for treating current research data. Major parameters comprise machines and load levels, as first and second factors, respectively.
