Estudo comparativo do efeito do adesivo de fibrina derivado de fração de veneno de cobra e do adesivo de fibrina humana (Tissucol) no processo de reparação de feridas em palato de coelho
TL;DRAbstract
Fibrin glue has been used in the medicai area for several purposes (SAL TZ et al 62 1989), although in dentistry its use has been limited. Fibrin glue derived from snake venom fraction has been used experimentally in nerve repair in rats with good results as a substituta to conventional suturas (IUAN et al 34 1995, VITERBO & SILVA 78 1997). The purpose of this work was to evaluate the effect of the fibrin glue (Tissucol) and the fibrin glue derived from snake venom on wound healing after their application on standardized open wounds made in rabbit palate. The lateral closure of the wounds was measured macroscopically using a software to analyze digitized standard photographs at 1 , 4 and 7 days after the surgical procedure. Histological analysis was performed to evaluate epithelial proliferation, development of granulation tissue and macromolecular organization of matrix. Histometric analysis was obtained in order to evaluate the area of birrefringent collagen fibers using a software (
