TL;DRAbstract

The article presents agent-based approach to research on cost of organizational change and its impact on competition level in complex environment. The multi-agent simulation model used here is based on the model proposed in [16] which utilizes Kauffman’s NK model of fitness landscape. The main novelty of this approach is introduction of the new parameter representing the cost of organizational change. Fig. 3 and 4 show the results of conducted simulation. As one can see, in general the cost of change is the reason for lesser competition level, it also lowers the average utility of agents.
