TL;DRAbstract

This 3-year research (1983 to 1986) effort designed and evaluated the Cross Appalachian Tracer Experiment (CAPTEX) and follow-on field experiments on megameter-scale atmospheric transport and dispersion. Procedures for testing atmospheric transport and dispersion models are discussed in light of the meteorological aspects of air pollution impact assessment on the megameter scale.
