TL;DRAbstract

In the teoretical part I am describing the importance of missions to the third world coun-tries. I am informing about programs and about organizations that directly address this is-sue and that operate in the third world countries. I am also explaining terms as humanitari-an missions, military missions and other terms relating to the foreing missions. I am divi-ding missions abroad by the lenght of stay, activity in the area, expertise of nurse, difficulty and difference in conditions. I am explaining the criteria for the departure of nurses to foreign missions, difficulty and other specifications that each mission involves. In short, I am presenting the organizations dealing with issue. Furthermore, I will clarify the illnesses with which the workers come accross and the ones they treat most often. I will also present the preparation of nurses for foreign missions, the work differences abroad and compare in to common practise. In the practical part I made a research on the high school
