Civic Education contributes to the development of a nation. A nation is able to develop and advance if its citizens love their own nation, and cultivating nationalism in every individual can be done through Civic Education teaching and learning. Nationalism has become important and beneficial to the development and success of a nation and state. This study aims to get a factual overview of the role of education in building civic nationalism youth (students) and how the efforts of teachers in implementing it so that students who are the future generation could be more observant in seeing social problems that occur in the vicinity.The research employed qualitative approach with a method of case study, and the data were gained through observations, in-depth interviews, literary studies, and documentary studies.The results revealed that the implementation of Civic Education teaching and learning process had been oriented to the development of citizenship competence among students in the as
