TL;DRAbstract

In this work it is presented the design, development and implementation of a low cost and versatile signal conditioner which is similar to the products available in the Brazilian market, most of them imported. The developed equipment performs the conversion, filtering, isolation and conditioning of small control signals from various types of sensors and transducers commonly used in industrial environments, by using a mature technology of signal transport in industrial control loops: current mode of 4-20mA. This technology, despite of new digital developments in the area of control and signal transmission in industrial environments, resists as an economic alternative with excellent results, especially in extremely aggressive environments with high levels of interference. vi
