This paper investigates the actual usage circumstance of ”ji P, geng Q”. The main conclusions are as follows. Firstly, in the actual language, its usage frequency is very low. The obvious difference lies in the different literary style, it mostly appears in the comment literary style. Secondly, P and Q mostly appear in the form of affirmation. Thirdly, its usage reason and intention are also different. In the different literary style, because of different writing purpose, the intention of its usage also shows obvious differences: in the literature literary style, because of different concrete language context, the usage intention is diverse. But in the comment literary style, its usage intention has obvious consistency: sentence type is majorly used to draw a conclusion.
