In reinforced concrete members under bending conditions, the relationship between the stress, acting on the cross section, and the corresponding curvature acquires, as known, fundamental significance. Such a relationship indeed represents the basis for rightly interpreting the physical reality, both in concern with the resistance and the deformability of the elements considered. For this reason in past and recent times, the study of the aforementioned relationship has attracted the attention of several researchers. Researchers in particular began to favour an analysis able to consider the block delimited by two near cracks (block model) against a cross sectional approach. The aim of the present work in such a context is that of a deeper inquest mainly addressed to the research of a dutiful unitary meaning among the different variables involved.
