TL;DRAbstract
The papers assembled in this special issue draw on articles solicited from a group of international legal scholars stemming from a diverse range of geographical locations as to extend its authorship over no less than four continents. It is hoped that the essays will testify to the value of communal thought exchange with regard to the past, the present, and the future developments of international law in Africa. It is also hoped that the diversity of methodological approaches contained herein enriches the coexistence of the plurality of approaches to international law.Nurturing intellectual diversity and extending the horizons of scholarly awareness among both, scholars and international legal practitioners is, today, as always, far more than a silent homage to the perennial wisdom of Saint Thomas Aquinas' timeo hominem unius libri. As guest editors of this special issue of the African Yearbook of International Law, we are especially grateful to its editors, whose vision has supported this
