TL;DRAbstract

There are two kinds of Explanations of Yi zhi yi in the silk manuscript to Zhou yi: One discusses its nature and characters; the other follows the mode about Hexagrams Jian and Chuan, focusing on the idea of harmony of Wen and Wu. In the explanation to Hexagram Yi, Yi zhi yi takes the values of Mean and Harmony, and also takes them as the basises for the discussion on the relationship between the ideas of Mean and Yin-Yang.
