TL;DRAbstract
The factors affecting technological progress in China are divided into internal factors and external factors. By improving the C-D function, this paper sets up a multivariate calculating model of affecting technological progress by combining principal component analysis and co-integration. The result shows that internal factors are more influencing than the external factors, in which educational development is the most flexible while foreign direct investment the least. Finally, it makes some suggestions for relevant policies of promoting technological progress.
