Revisiting Euler's theorem on odd perfect numbers
0
TL;DRAbstract
A slightly alternative proof is presented which establishes a classic result of Euler on odd perfect numbers. The argument depends on nothing more than a simple factorization of polynomials of the form 1 + p + Â... + pn, together with some elementary algebraic identities.
