TL;DRAbstract

The essentials which are indispensable for a plug-and-paly environment used on networkingare presented. Then Jini technology is introduced and some of its limitations are pointed out. This paperextends Jini' s idea to be used in a plug-and-play system for Internet,which is known as I-Jini. The ar-chitecture of I-Jini and a mechanism for its catalog service location are discussed in detail.
