TL;DRAbstract
1, 2-Bis(acetoxymethyl) carborane with yield of 81.2% and purity of 96.2% was synthesized by reaction of 6, 9-bis(acetonitrile) decaborane with 1, 4-diacetoxy-2-butyne. The structure were characterized by UV-Vis, 1H NMR,11B NMR,IR and elemental analysis.
