TL;DRAbstract

This study presents an innovative approach to the integration of Analytic Network Process (ANP) and the visualisation. By the use of Interactive Visualization Tool - InViTo (based on McNeel's Rhinoceros and its free plug-in Grasshopper), the work shows the contribution to the DM in handling the data collected during the decision process, using specific 2D and 3D maps created by the modelling system. The illustrated case study is an application of the ANP and InViTo to a German section of the Interreg IVB NEW Project CODE24 showing the potentialities of the conjoint use of the two tools in helping selecting a suitable scenario for transport improvement and territorial transformation
