TL;DRAbstract

291 patients with progressive destructive pulmonary tuberculosis have been subjected to osteoplastic thoracoplasty. The results of treatment were analyzed. The use of valvular bronchial blocking after osteoplastic thoracoplasty strengthens efficiency of this operation, allowing closure of cavities of disintegration in 72,8 % of patients and termination of bacteria-discharghing in 73,0 % of treated patients.
