North Dakota Beef Commission Calf Scour Study 1975-77

In 1981, the disease 'calf scours' still claimed the lives of more calves than any other calf disease in the state of North Dakota. In 1975, the North Beef Commission requested that a study be made of calf scour losses. This was a statewide cooperative project between the North Dakota Beef Commission, the Cooperative Extension Service, veterinarians and livestock producers in selected areas of North Dakota and the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station.
