TL;DRAbstract

The adsorptive properties of Saclay soil for cesium are measured and expressed in terms of partition coefflcients. It is found that cesium uptake does not follow the Langmuir isotherm, except for extremely low concentrations. Cesium is very selectively adsorbed, however, and its movement in such a soil is extremely slow. (auth)
