TL;DRAbstract

The current paper addresses the complex reasons of the arousal of Spaniards outside Spain. There is a strategic, worthy of consideration, invisible Spain to be known and studied deeply. The one composed of citizens living outside their national territory; which are not few. In early 2011 there were 1,702,778 Spaniards living abroad, almost as many inhabitants as the ones living in Barcelona. Furthermore, their importance is neither static not going into decline. Between 2009 and 2011 alone, the population increased significantly by 13.57%; this is, up to six times the group of immigrants in Spain; and up to 20 times the population growth rate registered in our country. Nonetheless, there is another factor, far more conceptual, to be considered. One that may help to frame the herein mentioned problem.
