TL;DRAbstract

This study was conducted to investigate the awareness and perception among lecturers of the Perlis Teacher Training College towards the implementation of TQM and MS ISO 9002 in all the teacher training colleges in Malaysia. This study also attempted to determine the significant differences in lecturers’ awareness and perception existed based on the lecturers’ sex, age, job status and working experience. The independent variables under this study were (i) the awareness of lecturers’ towards the importance of implementing TQM and MS ISO 9002, (ii) the perception of lecturers towards the critical factors in ensuring the success of implementing TQM and MS ISO 9002 and, (iii) the problems in implementing TQM and MS ISO 9002 in Teacher Training Colleges. This study involved 103 respondents, all fiom the Perlis Teacher Training College.
