TL;DRAbstract
The aim of this study is to demonstate how supply chain inventory problems can be handled by using the simulation approach and spreadsheets.Two different case studies are used to guide the operations managers in finding some practical solutions to the similar inventory problems that they may encounter.By this way, spreadsheet simulations are shown to be easily applicable to different operations scenarios.In the final section, future possibilities for applying the spreadsheet simulation to the more complex inventory systems are discussed.
