Background : The assessment if the patient’s post stroke is important, to gives information about motor movement and functional abilities. It is essential to asses not only motor pattern, which the patients need for specific functional skills. Objectives : To find out the improvement to muscle strength level, and functional abilities of past stroke, after physical exercises using method of bobath. Design : Pre test – post test one group description Subjects : Fifty Seven patients post stroke. Consisting of men and women, were included in the research consecutively and all of the subjects had been consulted at medical rehabilitation installation. Location : Neurological ward and medical rehabilitation installation at Dr.Kariadi Hospital in Semarang. Periode : August 2007 until October 2007 Treatment : All subjects, were given physical exercises method bobath, subjects were examined before exercises (Pre) and at the end of session (Post) Main Measurement results Muscle strength
