TL;DRAbstract

The aim of this study was to examine the semantic processing of language by means of the event-related potentials in a sample comprising 36 children with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and 36 children as control group. In the ADHD the latency of the N400 component was longer and the amplitude smaller than in the control group. The present study suggests that children with ADHD have a dysfunction- in semantic processing of language.
