Claudicatio intermittens infolge belastungsabhängiger Ischämie des Beinplexus
TL;DRAbstract
Patients complaining of exercise-induced leg pain most frequently suffer from aortofemoral occlusive disease with intermittent ischaemia of calf muscles; alternatively, “claudication of the cauda equina” associated with stenosis of the spinal canal may exist. In a few patients with stenosis or occlusion of the internal iliac artery, exercise-induced pain in the leg and/or buttock can be due to an intermittent ischaemia of the lumbosacral plexus.
