Utilização de prototipagem rápida para concepção de dispositivos para auxílio de pessoas com discapacidade de membros inferiores

J.E.C. Rodrigues-2015-02-19

TL;DRAbstract

Biomechanical Designs requiring great precision because they are used in most cases for people with physical disabilities. To this end, this work was carried out a comparative study of three Rapid Prototyping processes: Sintering Laser Selective (SLS), Solid State Laser (SLA) and Modeling Deposition of Molten Material (FDM) to develop devices to aid people with lower extremity disabilities and found that selective laser sintering (SLS) process is allowed to understand and perform the determination of which method is the most feasible to implement a prototype, considering characteristics of material, speed prototyping and costs involved. Finally, this study sought through two case studies to define the difficulties of biomechanics in the production of reliable and tangible prototypes.
