Certificate is a copied land book and plan/letter of measurement (surat ukur) getting from a land book data and plan, which is kept. in Land Office. Article 19 of UUPA cites : as long as could not be proved in contrary physically data and legally data that are written in the certificate assumed correct, before the court or in daily life. Double certificate cause of there is different data but the land is the same, sometimes not precisely the same, means there are the land with the line border is overlap. The Office Of National Land settles the double certificates case by amicable negotiation. Base on the collected data related to the case. The decision decided by The Office Of National Land was cancellation and transfer (mutasi), when the parties felt not satisfy possible for them to bring the case before the court. The research purpose were; wanted to know the causal factors of double certificates and also the case settlement done by The Office Of National Land. The research done
