TL;DRAbstract

The present work shows a methodology for system identification (black box) of a real process. The process consists of an industrial furnace of resistance used for drying transformer, which due to the problem of identification a virtual modeling is developed based on dynamics and steady-state equations. The main objective is to show the validity, utility and convenience of system identification,as a prelude to the design of controllers, which is why after the end of identification process, we proceded, based on the results, to the design of a controller to maintain constant temperature inside the industrial furnace. Virtual modeling, process identification andcontroller design is carried out in the software MATLAB /Simulink.
