Origines, motivations et souhaits d'orientation professionnelle des étudiants vétérinaires

TL;DRAbstract

A study led on students' promotion entered the Veterinarian National Schools French ( ENV) in 2005, throughout their programme, allowed to characterize this population, their origins, their representations concerning their future profession, their motivations, and the evolution of the professional choices during their schooling. The students showed to be fascinated by animal and avid to practise a liberal medical activity. Their choices evolve mainly with the training courses and the confrontation in the reality, process of construction of the professional project in the course of which the support of the ENV is considered necessary and at present insufficient. Their vision of the feminization and the gender parity is positive.
