Recent pressure and anthropic activities are among the main causes of the impact from increasing human activity in the environment.The recent drop on good quality drinking water, allied to the fact that, each day, it becomes more rare and precious shows the urge in the adoption of measures that aim to guarantee the supply, maintaining the regular flow of the water courses.This picture shows that is necessary reliable information about the quality and quantity of water in each river basin, extremely important factors for the management and proper planning.The river basin is the object of this analysis and planning, once it is a highly important system of inter-relationship between the anthropic and physical elements, due to the draining network, topographic characteristics and the plant coverage of the area; any changes in these elements behavior can be diagnosed and mapped with modern techniques applied to Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS).The present study ha
