Speaking is productive skill in oral mode that express ideas, opinion, feeling or others in order to tell, declare, inform, and as such needed to be developed and practiced indepently. Speaking is one of important skill in language. The students must be able to speak English fluently. So, the writer try to solve that by giving interview to her students as a technique to enhance the student’s speaking ability. The objectives of this research are to find out the use of “interview” can improve the speaking ability of the eleventh A grade students of MA NU Miftahul Falah Kudus in academic year 2013/2014, to explain how the speaking ability of the eleventh A grade students of MA NU Miftahul Falah Kudus in academic year 2013/2014 when they are taught by using “interview”, and to explain students’ participations of the eleventh A grade students of MA NU Miftahul Falah Kudus in academic year 2013/2014 when they are taught by using “interview”.
