Organizational aspects of psychological assistance to minors who are prone to suicidal behavior

TL;DRAbstract

We report the results of analysis of a system assisting juveniles prone to suicidal behavior. It is shown that a school psychologist can work with the child at all stages of the development of suicidal behavior, while maintaining the principle of continuity. We emphasize the need for interaction with experts of own and other departments. We designate the competence boundaries of psychologists, educational institutions specialists in the situation of suicide risk (compared to a suicide Health Service), explore the role of school psychologists in preventing the development of suicidal behavior of students. We describe the basic steps to provide psychological assistance to juveniles prone to suicidal behavior.
