TL;DRAbstract

Grade Point Average (GPA) is a number that reflects achievement students in learning. Many factors that influence GPA, but in this study only focused to reading speed and content comprehension of text. This study aims to look for correlation between reading speed and content comprehension of text with GPA, furthermore to predict GPA based on reading speed and content comprehension of text. Population in this study are nursing students programme A class 2010 Sumatera Utara University who totaled 137 people. Sample was determined using totally sampling technique. Design of study used is descriptive correlation. Datas were analyzed by correlation spearmen, pearson, and multiple linear regression test.
